Packing (dun-dun-dun)...

So we're almost there. It's about a day and a half before we leave... WOOHOO!... and we are packing:) We thought we'd share some of the fun with you

There's been been a lot of silliness in the last week as Bethany and I have spent a lot of time together getting details finalized- everything from rain jackets following us around GoodWill to laughing ourselves almost sick over trying on full length skirts and other things to Bethany finding herself in a box...

I think we've gotten everything packed now. We're spending our last few days at home with our family and friends. Please continue to pray with us that the Lord will prepare the way before us in India.

Why India?

Bethany: I have dedicated my heart and life to the Lord for spreading the Gospel. Whether in another country or home, through finances, time, or prayer, this is my greatest desire. I grew up reading missionary biographies and Christian literature and theology. Back in 2001 my dad, along with the pastor of my church at the time, took a month long trip to New Delhi, India to work with an orphanage. A special love for the people of India grew in my heart. For the past nine years the desire to work among the women and orphans of India and to support believers there has continued to increase.

Chelsea: I’ve heard missionary’s stories all my life. I first remember thinking I would like to be a missionary when I was about 13. Shortly after that, India caught my attention as a place in desperate need of workers, particularly among the women. I’ve thought and planned toward going to India for about seven years now. Now that I’m done with my bachelor’s degree, there is a natural break and I’m very excited to finally fulfill the childhood dream of being a missionary in India.
